Buying Lottery Tickets

A friend wanted to buy lottery tickets, so I consulted the oracle for him. We obtained the third line of Lü, corresponding to the parasite being devoured by the tiger.

Qian represents a vast force, the lottery prize pool, while Dui represents a small expenditure— the ticket cost. In Transformed L3, Dui becomes Qian. His expenditure is absorbed into the prize pool and becomes part of its accumulated funds. In this reading, the tickets bring him no return.
